How to register

Survival swimming lessons, like those offered by ISR, are an invaluable investment in your child’s safety and well-being in addition to your own piece of mind!

Before you register your child, please contact me so that I can explain the program and answer any questions that you may have.

The following is an overview of the steps to empowering your child with ISR Self-Rescue™ skills:

1. Contact me for more information, or to let me know that you would like to sign your child up for lessons.

2. When you are ready to proceed with your child’s registration, please email me (megan.tinney@infantswim.com) or call/text me (410-610-3985) and I will send you my unique ISR Registration URL which will take you to ISR’s National Registration Website. All students must complete the registration process through the National ISR office prior to starting their first in-water lesson. Registration forms must be filled out and paid for online.

3. Complete the ISR National Registration Process: The ISR National Registration Fee is $105* per child for first-time registration and then $35 renewal each year. ISR National Registration Fees are non-refundable.  Following the completion of the online form, you will be directed to payment using a Credit or Debit Card.  This fee does not go to the instructor and is not a deposit toward lessons.

With ISR having safety as our number one priority, we have a registration process that will ask pertinent questions as to your child’s development and overall health in the event that we need to adjust our already safe lessons, to be even more so for your individual child’s needs.  It is critically important that you include as much detail as possible when you complete this registration including providing all medications that your child(ren) currently takes regularly as well as those that they take sometimes or as needed (for example: children's tylenol, an allergy medication, emergency use inhaler, nebulizer treatments, etc).

4. Once your online child’s registration is complete, I will be notified and will contact you for official scheduling. ISR will also send you a confirmation email once the registration process is completed and your child is cleared to participate in lessons.

Please be on the lookout for an email from our RET (Registration Evaluation Team) in the event additional information is required for your child in order to clear them to participate in ISR lessons, as this does happen from time to time.  Your prompt response to the RET is much appreciated to avoid delays.

5. I will contact you to confirm your lesson date and time once the registration process is completed.

What does the National Registration Fee cover?

The National Registration fee covers a medical screening by our Registration Evaluation Team (RET) to assess the physical and developmental readiness of your child. Determination of appropriateness for lessons is not based on a particular condition or diagnosis, rather on the unique characteristics of the child.
